Sterling Heights is 36.8 square miles and is located in Macomb County. The motto is "To Strive on Behalf of All." Sterling Heights was established on July 1, 1968 and is the third largest city in the State of Michigan by area. Sterling Heights has the Municipal park system and the Dollier-Galinee County Park. There are two stables that provide horseback riding and there are also five golf courses. There is also shopping in the Lakeside Mall.
