Coloma Charter Township is located in northern most Berrien County, Michigan. The largest community in Coloma Charter Township is the town of Coloma. Coloma Charter Township is only a few short miles from the shores of Lake Michigan. This, along with Little Paw Paw Lake and Paw Paw Lake make the area a favorite for boaters and fishermen. The North Berrien Historical Society Museum, located at 300 Coloma Ave., allows visitors to step into the past of the north Berrien County area. It features the townships of Bainbridge, Coloma, Hagar and Watervliet. The life of northern Berrien County through the 1830's through the 1930's are explored in this log cabin museum.
Children of all ages will enjoy a day at Deer Forest. The theme park offers kiddie rides, playgrounds, and over 300 tame animals to feed. The park is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. |
